Perks Metal Works is looking for an experienced Stick Welder to join our growing team. We build custom metal buildings, barndominiums, shops, covered structures, and more throughout Central Texas, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in producing quality work.

Position Details:

• Immediate start available for the right candidate

• Full-time position

• Pay based on experience

• Company transportation provided from our shop to job sites

• Reliable transportation to our shop in Kempner is required

Responsibilities:

• Perform stick welding on structural steel for custom metal building projects.

• Read and follow project plans and instructions.

• Assist with the erection and installation of metal building components.

• Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.

• Work alongside team members to complete projects on schedule.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Follow all company safety policies and job site requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of stick welding experience required.

• Experience with metal building construction is a plus.

• Ability to lift heavy steel materials and work in outdoor environments.

• Strong work ethic with attention to detail.

• Dependable and punctual.

• Reliable transportation to the Perks Metal Works shop in Kempner.
